The band gained prominence in the 90s\, particularly during the third wave ska movement. Their debut album\, Skapocalypse Now!\, was released in 1991\, followed by several successful records\, including Big Daddy Multitude and Evildoers Beware!\, which helped them gain a wider audience. The band’s lineup has seen some changes over the years\, yet they have remained consistently active\, touring extensively and releasing new music. The Plug continues to influence the ska and punk scenes with their catchy melodies and spirited performances\, celebrating a lasting legacy in the genre that’s on full display in their latest release with Bad Time Records\, Where Did All My Friends Go? \nFormed in Montreal in 1994\, The Planet Smashers draw inspiration from classic ska and reggae\, blending it with pop punk rock elements to create a distinctive style that resonates with fans worldwide. The band gained popularity in the late 90s and early 2000s\, thanks in part to successful albums like their Self-Titled debut\, Life of the Party\, and Mighty. The band makes their Punkerton Records debut with The Hand You’ve Been Dealt\, their third full-length release and features 12 ska-punk driven tracks produced by Roger Lima from Less Than Jake and Rehasher.
