Peña ventured out on his own to create the traditional ska\, reggae\, and soul sensation that is The Bandulus. Their first full length album\, Ska. Reggae. Soul\, was released in 2010 and featured a smattering of well-respected musicians including The Slackers’ Vic Ruggiero and Willy Camero\, Patrick Kelly\, and Jonny Meyers of The Stingers ATX. The Bandulus’ music is a mix of Motown and Jamaica\, with lively grooves\, stirring melodies\, and spirited singing that often conveys themes of love and heartbreak. \nThee Heart Tones are a Chicano Soul band from Hawthorne\, California. DESCRIPTION:FW Shows and Broken Goblet present a Summer ska party with SAVE FERRIS! \nFormed in 1995\, Save Ferris remains one of the seminal and most beloved bands from the third wave of ska. The group’s Orange County home was fertile  ground for a thriving underground scene. The group’s humble beginnings saw them play house parties and local venues\, powered by Monique Powell’s high-octane vocals and their live show instantly became a hit. As word spread\, the band got a much-needed boost from legendary KROQ DJ; Rodney Bingenheimer\, who got a hold of the band’s self-released album. He played their cover of Dexys Midnight Runners “Come on Eileen” on his Rodney on the ROQ show and the response was overwhelming. Soon thereafter\, Kevin Weatherly picked up the song and it was added to the legendary taste-making rock station’s rotation. All of this happened independently without a record label and with Powell serving as the singer and band manager. Major labels started noticing the buzz that was emanating from Orange County and inn 1996\, the band won a Grammy showcase award for best unsigned band\, and with Epic Records’ David Massey as one of the judges. Save Ferris would later sign with the label and Epic re-released the Introducing Save Ferris EP and\, in 1997\, Save Ferris unleashed their debut album\, It Means Everything. Save Ferris toured the world for the better part of the next six years\, with 1999’s Modified released during that time. \nIn 2016\, Powell and her bandmates went into the studio to record a new EP. Advance tickets are $25 and are on sale NOW! \nFormed in 1989 by Ray Cappo after the breakup of Youth of Today\, Shelter gained notoriety for blending hardcore punk with elements of Eastern spirituality and philosophy\, particularly drawing inspiration from the teachings of the Hare Krishna movement. Cappo’s conversion to the movement significantly influenced Shelter’s lyrical themes and overall message with the band often incorporating spiritual and positive messages in their lyrics\, promoting concepts such as vegetarianism\, non-violence\, and self-realization. Noteable and important releases like Perfection of Desire (1990)\, Attaining the Supreme (1993)\, and When 20 Summers Pass (2000)\, the band has long been regarded as one of the most important to come out of the NY hardcore scene. \nWith Civ\, former frontman for the influential band Gorilla Biscuits\, Anthony ‘Civ’ Civarelli brought a melodic edge to hardcore\, blending punk rock energy with catchy hooks and anthemic choruses with the release of their debut album\, Set Your Goals in 1995. The album showcased the band’s signature sound\, featuring melodic guitar riffs\, and Civ’s distinctive vocal delivery with songs “Can’t Wait One Minute More” and “Choices Made”. DESCRIPTION:FW Shows and Broken Goblet are excited to bring legendary English rockers GIRLSCHOOL with a date on their final US tour with support from Lillian Axe and Alcatrazz. Doors are 6:30PM and tickets are $40 in Advance and $45 Day of Show. \nGirlschool originated from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal Scene in 1978 and are frequently associated with contemporaries and friends Motörhead. They are the longest running all-female rock band from the UK\, still active after 45 years. \nFormed from a school band called Painted Lady by Kim McAuliffe and Enid Williams\, Girlschool enjoyed strong media exposure and commercial success in the U.K. in the early 1980s with three albums of ‘punk-tinged metal’ and a few singles. \n In the 1990s and 2000s\, they concentrated their efforts on live shows and tours\, reducing considerably the production of studio albums. During their long career Girlschool has toured all over the world\, performing at many of the biggest rock and metal festivals as well as co-headlining with or supporting some of the most important hard rock and heavy metal bands in the genre. They maintain a worldwide cult following and are considered an inspiration for many succeeding female rock musicians\, such as The Donnas. \nOriginal members Kim McAuliffe\, Denise (Drench) Dufort are still in the band to this day\, original member lead guitarist /vocalist/songwriter Kelly Johnson died of cancer in 2007 and was replaced by lead guitarist/songwriter Jackie (Jax) Chambers in 1999.  In Jan 2019 Girlschool parted ways once again with bassist Enid Williams\, making way for the return of Tracey Lamb (formerly of Rock Goddess and Girlschool 1987-1991 & 1993-2000) solidifying the bands lineup for future live shows and recordings. \nIn 2023 FORTY-FIVE years young\, the British hard rock royalty came out swinging with their 14th studio album WTFortyfive?\, an outstanding and deliciously dirty declaration that age is a number that shows how much real raw attitude you have when it really counts. Kim\, Denise\, Jackie and Tracey leave the grit under their finger nails and the scuzz on their crusty leather boots as they riff and stomp their way through 12 statements of intent showing major attitude\, some great melodies\, and a consistent crunch to every guitar. \n \nDoors at 6:30pm / 18+ to Enter / Advance Tickets $40
